Interesting On-and Off-road CARB Rules Updates

AB 8xx (ABX2 8) part of the "Economic Recovery Bill" was overwhelmingly approved by the Legislature as part of the state budget package passed on February 18, as explained in a February 26 press release by author Assemblyman Brian Nestande, (http://arc.asm.ca.gov/member/64/?p=article&sid=215&id=219347 ).
AB 8XX, which relaxed CARB off-road diesel regulations, received substantial bipartisan support:
Senate vote: Ayes: 26 (11 D & 15 R),
Noes: 10 (10 D), Abstain: 4 (4 D);
Assembly vote: Ayes: 48 (20 D & 28 R),
Noes: 28 (28 D),
Abstain: 4 (3 D & 1 R)
